Four Example Images of a Football Commemorative Sculpture

Classmates:

Attached are photos of a sculpture-suitably customized to Battle Ground Academy likeness-which a committee of George Silvey, Ralph McCracken, Brother Campbell with the assistance and approval of the administration of BGA have elected to give Battle Ground in commemoration of the 1966 BGA state championship football team. As I’m sure you recall, this was as much our classes’ team as it was the team’s itself.

This sculpture which is to be dedicated and unveiled at the Ensworth v. BGA football game on September 8, 2006 is a permanent although costly-approximately $40,000 with the gallery commission and site costs-memorial to our team mates and ourselves.

I have selected YOU-and “we know who you are”-as the lucky few who will get solicited by me, personally! So limber up your check writing hand, and I will call with a suggested contribution.

If you want to avoid having me put the “arm” on you, in the interim, you may send your contribution to:

Please drop me an e-mail if you chose this method of contribution.
